Rumours are floating around that the legend that is Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is going to be turned into a movie. Series creators Matthew Holness and Richard Ayoade have apparently been asked to pen a script for a big screen adapation of the show.
As for the second series, the outlook is a little more grim. Basically, Channel 4 have no plans to comission a second series. But the DVD is on it's way and although it doesn't have a release date yet, it will be packed with extras.
