Quick reviews for the weekend

If you're thinking of catching a flick next weekend then don't go and try and use your own judgement about what to see, you will make the wrong choice ;). Instead we have a guide to what we have seen recently and what we thought.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire
Meh, a good movie but not a great one. When the first one came out it was almost like Harry Potter vs. Lord of the Rings. But that just sounds ridiculous now as Lord of the Rings was mindblowing when I watched it on my laptop but Harry Potter wasn't at the cinema.

That isn't to say it isn't a good film it did keep me entertained. I didn't like the ending though it was just kind of "Voldomort is back, now let's leave it and have a happy ending." To be honest I was expecting a Matrix style "to be continued..." ending.

Keeping Mum
The bottom line is that anything with Rowan Atkinson in is worth seeing and this is no acception. It didn't grip me all the way through but it did have plenty of moments and was funny. To be honest, I didn't expect there to be so much killing in a light hearted comedy - and no, I'm not kidding ;).

The Transporter 2
Traditional action movie, coined as "Die Hard for the family." Of course Die Hard was an awesome movie and this can't measure up but as a run of the mill action movie it provides some entertainment.

Wallace & Gromit In The Curse Of The Were Rabbit
Wallace and Gromit rule! Not as good as some of the earlier ones but it hasn't really lost it, it's just a little down from them. Still worth a watch and still very funny.
